Historical church (1873)

 In a victorian district, a stone church of 1873 filled with incomparable treasures, recognized as an Ancient memorial of class A and drawn by the architect Ferdinand Peachy, Charles Baillargé's partner.

In the same place, the quick visit of reproductions of European museums: Paris (Louvre), Madrid ( Prado), Seville, Amsterdam, Florence (Pitti palace and museum of Services), St-Petersburg (Hermitage), Vatican (Sixtine and Library), Rome.

Realized by Joseph Thomas Rousseau's team, a rich pictorial decoration (73 paintings) representing works of Carolsfelds, Hoffman, Del Sarto, Murillo, Raphaël, Rembrandt, Michelangelo and Léonard de Vinci. The first intentions of Marc-Aurèle Suzor coté, painter and national sculptor. The first 43 stained-glass windows of the Company Hobbs de Montréal. Among some, a statue outdone by Napoleon III in the Lounge of Paris of the World Fair of 1867. An organ Casavant, Sir Wilfrid Laurier's bench. 

Guided tour (Offered in French, English and Spanish) :

  • From July 9 to August 18: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Available on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Voluntary contribution
  • Groups: all year around (on reservation)
